HISTORICAL BACKGROUND
Borabu Technical Training Institute was founded in 2018 as a Technical Training Institute on 5 acres of land under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Education. The institution was mentored by Kisii National Polytechnic until it was handed over to the current management on 01/01/2018. The college started off with ICT and electrical engineering students. Since then more courses have been introduced such as Hairdressing, Building, Fashion Design, Human Resources, Supply Chain, and Cooperative management. Over the years, the Institute has trained graduates working in different levels of study. The institution has over 30 competent trainers and over 700 trainees in various departments.
