Course description

Computer programming

This course provides a foundational understanding of computer programming concepts and techniques. Students will learn to write and debug code in a high-level programming language, develop problem-solving skills, and understand core programming principles. The course includes hands-on projects and exercises to reinforce learning and build practical skills.

Cyber Security

This course provides an in-depth introduction to the principles and practices of cyber security. Students will learn about the fundamentals of securing information systems, protecting networks, and responding to security incidents. The course emphasizes both theoretical concepts and hands-on practices to develop a solid understanding of cyber security techniques and strategies

ICT Technician

This course is designed to provide students with the essential knowledge and skills required to become effective ICT technicians. It covers the fundamentals of computer hardware and software, network management, troubleshooting, and basic cyber security. The course emphasizes hands-on experience through practical labs and real-world scenarios.

Animation and digital media

Animation and Digital Media Course encompasses a broad range of creative and technical disciplines focused on producing and utilizing visual content in digital formats. This field integrates artistic principles with advanced technology to create compelling visuals and interactive experiences. Whereby: Animation is the process of creating the illusion of motion by displaying a series of individual frames or images in rapid succession and Digital Media refers to any content that is created, distributed, and consumed in digital formats

Graphic Design

This course introduces students to the principles and practices of graphic design. It covers fundamental design concepts, tools, and techniques used to create visual content for print and digital media. Students will develop practical skills through hands-on projects and learn to communicate ideas effectively through design

Web Design

This course involves teaching students how to design and build websites that are visually appealing, user-friendly, and functional. This course covers both the technical and creative aspects of web design, from understanding design principles to coding and using design tools.

Network Administration

This course provides a thorough introduction to network administration, covering essential topics such as network fundamentals, configuration, security, and troubleshooting. Students will gain hands-on experience in managing and maintaining network infrastructure, and will be prepared for entry-level network administration roles.

Course Requirements

Level 6 (Diploma)

Trainees at this level must have a minimum of KCSE grade of C- and above or a pass at L5 /certificate

Level 5(Certificate)

Trainees at this level must have a minimum of D plain and above

Career Progression
Level 5 courses takes a maximum 2 years to complete and one can proceed to level 6
Level 6 courses takes maximum period of 3 years and upon completion the student can continue to degree level
